V8 SDK

V8 execution is default-off. Use the resolver and V8 preset when touching runtime, app-host, compiler, bootstrap, provider, configuration, or V8-adjacent behavior.

If SDK resolution fails, keep the exact resolver error in your report and mark the V8-enabled check UNAVAILABLE.

The Windows test engine uses the same SDK-backed configure path for -Area v8 and for alpha-proof-backed golden, integration, examples, templates, and alpha-flow lanes. Do not require SLOPPY_V8_ROOT for those local checks unless you are intentionally overriding discovery.
